Amber-Set Bone Tooth Pendant
蜜蜡包牙·吊坠
In stock · one piece only
A carved bone tooth capped with a small piece of honey amber at the crown. The bone is pale and smooth from hand-finishing; the amber cap is the only colour, and it catches light against the white. It hangs as a single drop, small enough to wear under a collar, with a shape that reads as old rather than new.

The stone
Tooth-shaped pendants have a long tradition in Eastern wear. They were worn as tokens of courage. Today most people who wear them are not warriors. They wear them because the piece is small, made by hand, and looks like nothing else they own. The amber cap is set by hand onto the carved bone, so the join and the grain are particular to this one piece.
In the lore
In lore the tooth was a token of nerve and the amber a touch of warmth over it. We keep the story attached to the object, not as a promise of anything.
The craft
Carved from bone, hand-finished, and set with a honey-amber cap at the crown. Strung on an adjustable cord. One piece only; when it sells, this exact pendant is gone.
Wear & care
Keep it off perfume and harsh soap, and take it off before sport or the shower. A soft dry cloth keeps the bone clean. Amber is soft, so avoid knocking the cap against hard surfaces.
