The stone
Antelope horn is a worked animal material, not stone, so it is lighter and warms quickly against the skin. The eye pattern comes from the natural layering of the horn and cannot be printed or faked; it is cut to show those rings on the face of each bead. Because the rings run differently through every section, no two beads match exactly.
In the lore
Horn pieces have long been worn in the East as everyday tokens, and the eye pattern was read in lore as a watchful, protective mark. We share that as the tradition it is, nothing more.
The craft
Barrel-cut, polished, and hand-knotted on doubled elastic for daily wear. Sized to fit a wrist of roughly 15-17 cm; tell us if you need it adjusted before it ships.
Wear & care
Horn does not like long soaking or strong soap. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep it off perfume and hand sanitizer. An occasional touch of light oil keeps the surface from drying out.
